| PTGES3 catalyzes the conversion of PGH2 to PGE2. It also has molecular chaperone activity, localizing to genomic response elements in a hormone-dependent manner and disrupting receptor-mediated transcription by disassembling regulatory complexes. PTGES3 facilitates hydroxylation of HIF-α proteins via interaction with EGLN1/PHD2, recruiting them to the HSP90 pathway. |
